This is a junior accounting position Ideal for someone who's recently graduated from a community college or university with an accounting certificate. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Simply Accounting with good reconciliation skills and experience with tax remittances for HST and source deductions.
Position will be responsible for day-to-day accounting entries, accounts payable, preparing HST returns and bank reconciliations. A great deal of emphasis will be placed on bank reconciliations which is a significant portion of the position. Once our individual systems have been mastered, the incumbent will continue to have added responsibilities including payroll which is processed in house.
