CREDIT REPORTING SERVICES

Investigative Reporting Services

Example

In addition to Credinet and group meeting services, we also offer a variety of credit investigative services.

We can verify details on your credit application including the correct legal entity name of your potential customer, obtain experiences from trade references provided by your credit applicant and obtain a bank report from the applicant’s financial institution. All of this information can be integrated into our Credinet portal where you can follow the development of investigative reports and review the information and status of reports in production. The portal also permits you to sort investigative reports by user, by date and by type of report.

In addition to verification of details on your credit application, we can also obtain details from a single trade reference or obtain details of the officers and directors of your customer’s company. Credifax can also provide details from Credscan TM, our database of negative occurrences including alerts provided by Credinet members, accounts placed for collection from up to six different collection agencies, legal suits initiated and judgments obtained and Canada Revenue Agency Income Tax and Excise Tax judgments.

We can provide a variety of other credit information services including property title searches (with liens and executions filed against lands) and PPSA searches and registrations. For foreign reporting services we can obtain U.S Experian Business IQ Premiere Profile Reports. We can also provide full investigative on US customers too (corporate verification, bank and trade reference verification).

While Investigative services can be done on a pay-as-you-go basis most services are provided on a prepaid contract. The level of prepaid services determines the percentage of discount that you will receive on the development of each type of investigative report, regardless of the type of report that you choose. While many other competing services similar to our IRS expire, often with unused portions lost to the user, Credifax permits a full carryover of unused services for renewal of contracts of the same discount class, so that levels of usage can be corrected without loss of your investment in these services.
